Single Speed MTN Build Kit
After discovering the joys of single speed mountain bike riding and racing, we at Mountains Plus decided to assemble a top-notch and bomb-proof build kit for your single speed dirt machine. Using a mix of tried and true parts from our favorite component companies and suppliers, this build kit will have you screamin’ down your local single-track with a new found love for all things dirt. The cockpit consists of our favorite FSA OS-115 stem matched with the FSA XC-190 Handlebar. Avid Elixir R hydraulic disc brakes and 160mm rotors control the speed, while a Pro Built wheel set (Shimano XT disc hubs, Mavic 317 rims, Wheelsmith spokes) and Wheels Manufacturing Spacer/Cog kit keep you rolling. Truvativ’s dedicated single speed 175mm Stylo Crank with a 32 tooth ring and bash guard and Sram’s PC-1 chain complete the drivetrain. Lastly, we have FSA’s SL-K carbon seatpost to add that extra bling. Everything pictured is included in this build (colors and styles may vary). Build DOES NOT INCLUDE GRIPS, SADDLE, PEDALS and FORK.
