The heel fits securely from base of the heel to the achilles without discomfort,deadspace.Equipped with an extended toe rand that is functional for toe-hooking without feeling excessive,the tri-grooves relieves pressure off the big toe, the Pontas has a 3/4 length semi stiff midsole providing the ideal balance of edging power,responsiveness from toe through the arch.
